brotherly bath

Last night was the first time we decided to give the boys a bath at the same time. We had this lawn chair type thing for Az to use when he came home from the hospital when he couldn't have a real bath yet and decided to see if it'd work for a real bath too and it did. Micah got in first and puked and then Az joined and proceeded to pee on Micah so we drained the water and reloaded, and of course Az peed on Micah again. Micah however loved having brother( who I have named bubbles because he's always blowing bubbles with his spit) in the tub with him and didn't cause any trouble which was a nice change. We got both boys cleaned and in their new towels from Lester and Roberta and it only took 30 mins compared to about 1 1/2 hours to bathe them seperately. We got them dry and in their jammies and off to bed.

I will post pics later once I find my card reader.

Christmas part 1

Our Christmas Started at about 8pm on the 23rd. We were supposed to be in the car headed to Bonnie's house but the weather wasn't going to be in our favor so we decided to stay home for the night and try again the next day. Since we wern't in the car we decided it might be a nice time to open presents for the boys. We started with the gifts from the neighbors but once we started we didn't want to stop so they opened the presents from us also. Micah was VERY cute, at his birthday we had to help him open is gifts but for Christmas all we had to do was start it for him and he quickly caught on to tearing into them all on his own. He would tear off a piece and put it in the other hand repeatedly until that hand was full and he'd drop it and find out what he just opened. We got him an accoustic guitar and some blocks and he plays with both every chance he can get. Az got a play mat to look up at pretty lights and toys, he's not real sure about it yet but he's getting used to it slowly.

Christmas Eve Day we woke up and packed for a cold drive and a possible break down and were on the road by 10:30 or 11. It was icy all the way to Gunnison but we made it thru. We stopped and had a nice lunch and gave the boys some time out of the carseats they were VERY appreciative. Micah was flirting with all the girls he saw and Az was just all smiles. We borrowed Gwah's dvd player for this trip and let Micah watch Jungle Book, made the trip a lot easier and we would just sit and listen to him try to sing along it was very cute, he can now say NECESSITIES thanks to the Jungle Book. He was very clear on what movie he wanted to watch when I switch dvd's on the way home for Madagascar Christmas. It ended and he looked at me and said NECESSITIES and pointed at the dvd player. Apparently 5 times in a row wasn't enough bear necesities for him.

We arrived in GJ just in time for Dinner for at Grandma Marianna's house where we ate and ran to make it to the last Christmas Eve service. I didn't get see more than 10 minutes of it but it was the principle of being there I guess... we were late and had to check Micah into the nursery and then Az was getting fussy so I went into the lobby and had a nice chat with a friend. Tom went to pick up Micah and he ended up being the last one because I having another nice chat with a friend and the old man was holding Micah's hand and wouldn't let him go to Tom until Tom gave him his number and apparently Micah wasn't too happy about that and gave the old man a not very nice look when he stopped him.

We had a Great Christmas this year, it was the first one that Micah didn't sleep thru present opening, Az didn't either but he had NO idea what was going on.

We had a TON of family this year Grandpa Tom and Gran, Grandma Marianna and Royce, Aunt Tricia and Uncle Craig, Eric and his brood Mom and Dad of course and our little family. We would've had more but Uncle Jeff got sick and had to stay home :( and we most def missed Jason and his family.

We still enjoyed ourselves and the boys were def spoiled with all the grandparents around. Az got to have ALL of his naps on Aunt Tricia's lap and he just ate that up.

The next day we had breakfast with some good friends and their little girl Belle who is Micah's age and got to see them play together. It was nice having someone Micah's age for him to play with. They switched sippy cups and did not want to hear that they had the wrong one.
After that Tom dropped me off at the Mall with my mom and sister for some after Christmas shooping and my friend Rachel came and joined us as well, it was a nice girls day out.

Later that night I even got to meet my friend's newest baby born on the 21st Judah. It was weird seeing a brand new baby compared to Az, he's still little to me but Judah was really little. Just shows you how fast they grow.

Unfortunately I did not get a SINGLE picture this trip but Mom and Jodi's camera's were going most fo the time so hopefully I can accumulate some pictures to share soon.

Micah with electronics

So Micah LOVES all electronics he turns on the radio in the morning ( he likes the country station) and he likes to change the channel all with the remote mind you. He also LOVES to talk on the phone he takes it from us when it's on speaker and he walks around with it to his ear and just jabbers away at what ever poor soul happens to be on the other end ( mostly Gwah) He then ALWAYS hangs up on them. Well me being clever decided I was going to find a mode that he can't actually call anyone with he can just push buttons and no harm done. Well after playing with my phone for a few minutes found airplane mode meaning no calls can go out. I thought that would be PERFECT he can play with my phone and not scream about it and I don't have to worry about him calling China. I WAS WRONG he within SECONDS of having my phone turned OFF airplane mode. Ok story time cause I JUST remembered something... When I went to visit my parents just recently Micah wanted to talk to his daddy so I put it on speaker and gave him the phone while I was nursing Az. Well of course he hung up after a few seconds and Tom tried to call back but I was busy with Az and couldn't answer the phone, well a minute later I here a call being made and Tom answers and says Micah you hung up on me. Except he didn't call Tom's cell phone back the phone he originally called us with he called our house phone. We have NO pre set speed dials on my cell phone how he figured it out I have NO IDEA. No offense to my dad but he can't even figure that out and he can acutally read unlike my 1 year old.

Microwaved wipes

So Tom and I had a Company Christmas Party tonight so we gave Micah to Gwah for the night and found a babysitter for Az for a few hours..... So I got Az there and went to the party and Tom and I went to pick him up... They said he did great but only had one diaper left and probably needed to be changed they also informed me that my wipes were so cold they had to put them in the microwave just to use them, she said in all 68 years of her life she'd NEVER had a wipe so cold that it had to be microwaved anyway Az needed changed so I thought no biggie I'll go ahead and change him and then we'll head home we'll they are very nice people from our church so we decided to stick around and talk for a while and during that time he almost had a blow out and of course me not thinking before I brought him that he was with Carrie earlier this week and didn't re fill the diapers he got one of his brothers VERY funny... I will post pics hoepfully tomorrow of all the happenings in the last month

Christmas has arrived

For all of you doubters (cough Gloria cough) Christmas at the Kugler house has arrived our tree is up and decorated. HOORAY!!! And of course there was ALOT more to it that just that. This year we had the lovely honor (NOT) of being INFESTED with MOTHS not even joking. Tom seriously killed about 50-150 a night all over the house before bed they got EVERY where so we're all excited to put up the tree and not even thinking about how many moths were in our basement this summer didn't think twice that our tree would also have DEAD moths EEWWW GROSS We found about 20 dangling from various branches. I told Tom if I found one personally it was all him well after the 5th one that statement became true, lucky for him it was almost the last branch to go up.

So on to Micah because there is ALWAYS something new and exciting with that boy. He decided ON HIS OWN mind you that he likes bars of soap. He got into his changing table cabinet and took EVERYTHING out of it and found a bar of soap that he thought would be tasty and apparently to him it was because after I threw it away he continuously tried to retrieve said bar of soap until I finally made Tom take it outside. I don't know you about you but I am NOT a fan of bar soap or liquid for that matter in my mouth I've been there and done that. I guess we will have to come up with a diff form of punishment once Micah gets to the age of back talking and using naughty words.

I feel like I was hit by a Mack truck

Yesterday I started the day great ... got up with Az at 6:30 after 6 1/2 hours of sleep anf changed him and gave him bath, I even made Tom coffee, I was a great morning. Then Micah and Az both needed naps so i decided i would join them. I woke up feeling terrible I could hardly even pick Az up let alone Micah. I was supposed to go to Pueblo to finish my shopping and drop off Micah but the roads were terrible and I could hardly move. Thankgoodness Tom had a late lunch and was able to take care of me a little bit and get the boys ready for Carrie to take them because I literally couldn't move I hurt so bad. I have something called mastitis a clogged duct due to Az sleeping thru the night... WHY do i get punished for being rewarded???? I have my meds now and feel much better but man yesterday was killer.

On a happier side Az is quite the smiley baby now and Micah started patting his tummy when his shirt is off. I think he misses gpa Bill that had to have been where he learned it. It is very cute to see cause he sticks his little tummy out more to do it.

kisses

We had quite the weekend. Tom and I started the weekend with mad cleaning until 2am Fri night which resulted in no energy on Sat and a cranky baby that had his sleeping schedule messed up. I had a pamper the mom shower Sat that some ladies from the church threw for me which was a lot of fun. After the party we headed to Pueblo so we could do Our monthly Sam's shopping and to see Becca and Ryan since they just moved in with Paul and Gloria. Tom and I again stayed up way to late playing mindless trivia games online but we had fun and it was mice to spend some time just us that wasn't rushing around cleaning, but again Az's schedule was messed up so we didn't get any sleep. Tom and his dad went shopping Sun morning since the roads were bad we decided to stay in Pueblo and not head home for church that morning. It was good father son time for Tom and his dad tho so I think we'll be ok. Both boys were a wreck yesterday tho it was all Gwah and I could do to keep them happy and catch a small nap for ourselves.

Micah is just amazing us more and more everyday I decided to try and teach him to put the tuperware back in the drawer at Gwah's house and he figured it out after just one lesson. He's also been learning new songs from the various toys that we have for him. His favorite is the ABC's and he gets very happy when he hears the song but had only picked up hijk and wx but it's still really cute. If you sing to him he'll try and sing back he also like's hickory dickory dock and Tom was teaching him Old Mcdonald last night on the way home, he was trying SO hard to get the ei ei o down but got frustrated and so Tom resorted to clicking his tongue because Micah is a pro at that. (drives me nuts but Micah likes it)

It's crazy how we went from just having to have some sort of music playing on the trip to Pueblo to having to actually sing and remember all the kid songs to keep Micah happy.

He has also recently well I'm actually not exactly sure when he learned because he did it for Gwah first. But the other day I actually got a real kiss from him :) def made my day a little bummed the Grandma got the first one but at least get them now :)

We actually got to bed a decent time for us 12 and our lil Az slept 7 hours, let me tell you I was jumping for joy this morning when I looked at the clock and it was 7 and I had actually gotten 7 hours of sleep. only took 8 weeks I think were doing pretty good.

Slacking

We had a great nice and relaxing Thanksgiving Weekend. Sat we helped Paul and Gloria with the tree and the Christmas lights... Well Micah sort of helped with the tree more un decorating than decorating and Tom helped his dad with the lights outside.

Sun we headed back to Pueblo after church and met with some friends for coffee and then went to Cracker Barrel for dinner after and found an acoustic guitar for Micah for Christmas.

New things for Micah... He's teething again right now so he's sleeping the day away... He gives his brother hugs now when we ask him too which is cute. He started throwing himself on the ground when he's upset yesterday that's not cute. Apparently he also figured out how to take off his diaper this past weekend. He hasn't done it for me but Gwah said he did it to her a few times.

Last night both boys were a wreck and I had to pick them both up... not recommended I thought I was going to lose Az there for a second. But then Daddy came home and they both stopped Micah ran and gave daddy a hug and Az cuddled right in. I took a pic on my phone but it's not very good quality.. I have other pics to upload as well.

I am VERY excited to go pick-up my new double stroller tonight that I ordered.

It snowed today it actually feels like Winter again.
