Micah and his Coffee

I know I just wrote yesterday but last night we came over to Tom's parents house for his mom's birthday and Aunt Becca had a coffee ornament on the tree and Tom decided that it was just Micah's size so we had to take a picture of course and it is just the cutest thing ever.

New Blog

Hi all,
I decided that I would start a blog and update everyone on everything that has been going on in the life of the Kuglers in Canon City.

So far this year Tom and I got married on June 14th, 2008 at New Life Church in Grand Junction.
We had a wonderful wedding and an amazing pool party after wards thanks to Grandma Marianna and Grandpa Royce for letting us use their house and thanks to everyone that helped set up for it.

Tom and I bought a house on June 16th in Canon City Colorado. Tom started working for Bresnan Communications the end of March and was living with his parents until we FINALLY found house, what a night mare but were all moved in and love it now.

Micah was born on September 25th, 2008 FINALLY I say finally not because he was late because he was actually 3 days early according to the 5th ultrasound. He tried to come like 4 times and then when he could've come without them stopping him much more he gave up of course. But he did come on his own, we were scheduled for an inducement but he decided that the day we picked was the day he picked also and I went into Labor on my own at 3:30am that same morning so they still gave me the potocin but I don't think it had anything to do with it. He was in our arms at 8:45am. The cord was wrapped around his neck twice but he was perfectly fine, it just made me push until he was out contraction or not. I was paying for that one for about 6 weeks but now seem to be doing alright.

Micah has been happy and healthy for the most part. We did have to take him to the ER for breathing and then to The Children's Hospital in Denver last week but he is fine he has something called Laryngo Malasia ( means he has a floppy airway) He will grow out of it by the time he's two when his airway gets stronger and less floppy, basically he's just going to be VERY loud and I was told everyone and their dog will ask me what's wrong with my child.

They did 2 tests on him one they numbed his nose ( he was not a fan) and put a tube down his nose to look at his throat confirming their diagnosis and they did an upper GI. They starved the poor guy for 6 1/2 hours teasing him with food only giving him a half ounce in the middle, then they continued to teast him but giving him the bactrim to drink and then taking it out every few seconds and turning him. They gave him the bactrim while x-raying him to see if he had any other issues. He does has acid reflux suprise surprise since the WHOLE family has on it both sides, but it's not so sevre yet. After that test he drank 8oz and then they let us go home shortly after.
I was not impressed the first day altho since I was up since 3:30am with him and wasn't planning on a trip to Denver. You could say I was a tad cranky, I only yelled at one nurse tho, you would to if they wouldn't let your exhausted baby sleep. I did apologize after Tom calmed me down and i got along with the rest of the nurses and docs just fine.

We were able to ride home with Bonnie when He was just over 2 weeks old and he met a TON of people. I think the cutest thing ever was seeing his cousins meet him for the first time especially Alex he was adorable and said BABY and gave him kisses and brought him all of his favorite toys.

We also went to GJ to meet Aunt Linda and Uncle Jason. It was a short but fun trip since I hadn't seen them since my wedding. Can't wait to go see them in AZ for Jason's Graduation in Feb. I'm so proud of him.

So far since Micah has been born and he was 8 weeks yesterday mind you. He has rolled from his tummy to his back and from his back to his tummy. He's held his head up since day one. He tries to hold his bottle. He grabs his wipes and hands them to me while I'm changing him. At first he was not a bath lover because of the cold but now you can't get him out. He talks to you like crazy and smiles ALL the time SOOOO cute.

Our next trip is back to GJ for Thanksgiving which will be fun because Micah will get to meet the rest of the family. His Great Uncle Jeff and cousins Ben and Adin along with Uncle Jeff's girl friend Lauren ( we all love her)

We'll the little man thinks he's hungry again ( I swear he's a bottomless pit sometimes) I better go. I'll try to keep everyone updated.
