Life in 2009

2009 has found us quite busy with a lot of new and exciting adventures, the end of Feb we went to Tucson AZ for Jason's graduation. It was very exciting to see their house and I was thrilled to be able to share ONE of his big moments with him.
It was also Micah's first time on an airplane and even tho we woke entirely too early for both flights he was a champ the whole time. He loved playing with Toby Jason and Linda's dog and of course loved seeing his Aunt and Uncle.

The night we came home we took a pregnancy test and found out we were expecting again. That was shock and excitement rolled all into one. This makes Grand baby number 6 for Bonnie and Bumpa. I definitely did not see my parents having 6 grand kids just all of a sudden but they do great and LOVE every minute of it.

Tom had training in Grand Junction for almost a month so of course Micah and I went with so I could see my family. Micah was most definitely spoiled rotten between being able to talk Bonnie into a bottle whenever he wanted and snuggling with Grandpa while he sang to him every night before bed he was one VERY happy baby. I was able to hang out with some friends while I was home also which was very nice and Micah and I had a few play dates at the park. The cutest one being with Isabelle a baby about 3 weeks younger than Micah, they held hands and then Micah stole her pacifier so then it was war. We also hung out with the cousins and Aunt Jodi quite a bit which is always fun. Jodi had a Arbonne party at mom's house one night and no one showed up for it so Micah got the full spa treatment instead, ( not really just a bucket bath with Aunt Jodi :))

After we came back home we started Micah on his first solid foods which he loves and cannot get enough of or so he thinks, ever since the first day he tries to "help" us feed him which of course makes a HUGE mess but he has fun and that's what wash cloths are for. He LOVES to have daddy play the guitar and even tries to help him out sometimes. He has also grown quite found a green blanket just like his mom and dad used to have mine was pink and Tom's was blue so that's interesting and very helpful at nap or bed time cause he just snuggles in and goes to sleep.

Paul and Gloria had their 25th Wedding Anniversary this year and decided to renew their vows at the church they were married in so we headed up to Cheyenne to take part. Tom was Paul's Best man and Becca was Gloria's Maid of honor. Micah sat with his great grandpa the whole which was really neat because the last time they saw each other Micah was only 3 days old and grandpa wasn't ready to hold him yet so I think they made up for lost time.

Tom and I celebrated our 1 year Anniverary this year. We went on the Royal Gorge Train during the day and to a nice dinner that night. It was a lot fun to have a day just the 2 of us. Gloria and Paul took Micah for the day.

Micah is crawling well if you call flopping around on the ground crawling I guess and he's pulling himself up to the coffee table and other various things. He learned about a week ago how to call the kitties at Gwah's House ( Grandma Gloria) He pats on the ground with both hands and shouts kiki kiki it's VERY cute.

We found out that we are having ANOTHER BOY Oct 19th his name will be Azariah Thomas.

We recently have experienced some fun firsts with Micah we took him to the Zoo and a few weeks ago and to the park just today to swing and go down the slide. We can't believe he's going to be 9 months next week time is just flying by but we love every second of it and can't wait to welcome the new baby and see how the brothers get along.

ALSO way exciting news as of just this week. The FIRST Trinklein Girl of family was Born Jolie Michael Trinklein on June 17th and she looks just like her daddy and is just the cutest little baby girl EVER and I CANNOT wait to meet her.

Well I think I've typed a book by now so I'll be going but I'll try to be better about updating thanks for taking the time to read about our crazy life :) Love you all

Lots of Blogging

This outfit was also Uncle Eric's when he was a baby and since we all think he looks the most like Eric out of the relatives I thought I'd post this pic.
My sleeping baby so precious
Hanging out with Aunt Becca on Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas with Tom's family this year. We had the traditional opening presents on Christmas Eve and I think Micah maybe made it through of his presents before he wanted to go to sleep. On Christmas Tom's Aunt Carolyn, Uncle Tim, Cousin Josh and his family came over and we had some lunch. And Tom's grandma Wood came and met Micah for the first time and he just ate up having grandma time.
talking to Grandma Gloria
For New years we went over to our Friends house and then woke up early the next morning for Bonnie and Gpa Bill's ( aka Bumpa's) house. Micah decided that he likes to watch football with Grandpa Bill he just didn't care for the team he picked but it was pretty funny to watch Micah watch his first football game. He also met My Aunt Helen for the first time since Micah and I decided to stick around for an extra week and see everyone.

He is slowly learning how to sit up and doing better and better with it
Good quality daddy time
Micah's absolute favorite thing to do is to be up in the air above everyone else and squeals and kicks his legs and thinks it's the greastest thing ever.
Daddy wore him out. I swear that child will sleep anywhere. He LOVES nap time
back at home. sweet moments with daddy
Micah got a new jumper for Christmas that he LOVES but isn't quite tall enough for it yet so we just put a blanket under and he has a great time.

He jumped so much that he fell asleep
Micah is 4 months old now I can't hardly believe it. He is almost 13 lbs and just about 24 inches long. Meaning he wears 6-9 jammies for the length but the rest are VERY baggy. They also said developmentally he's about 7 months old. Too smart for his own good.

Sorry it's been so long since I wrote. I started a new coorespondance course for Medical Transcriptioning and hope to have it completed by June.

Micah just learned to roll from his back to his tummy but will mostly only do it if he thinks no one else is watching. he has almost mastered sitting up and I still think he's just going to start full on crawling one of these days without warning.

Micah will have his first plane ride in a few weeks, we are going to Uncle Jason's Graduation which we are all very excited about. Then we'll be home for a few weeks and off to GJ for 3 weeks for Tom's training which I am VERY excited about because I miss my family terribly so getting to see all of them in 1 month is just WONDERFUL.

We'll it's time for me to get Mr. Micah out of bed and ready for the day so I hope everyone is doing well.

I'll try and update you more frequently.
